Raglan T-Shirt Class

Join Lemon Quilts on a knit shirt journey! Learn the essential skills to create your own stylish and comfortable knit shirt in this hands-on class. This course is designed for beginners and intermediate sewers who want to master the techniques for sewing with knit fabrics. During the 3 hour class, participants will make a specific knit shirt pattern, with opportunities for minor alterations to fit personal style preferences.

A kit to make the shirt pictured is available, but class attendees are also welcome to bring their own fabric choices (as long as it is a knit). 

Participants may bring a serger OR a domestic sewing machine. Whichever they prefer- no need to bring both! 

Pattern for shirt is included in class fee.

Class Materials

• Sewing machine OR serger in good working order
• Thread (Polyester thread preferred)
• Pins and/or clips 
• Scissors (no rotary cutter needed, scissors only)
• Jersey knit OR stretch OR ball point needle
• Shirt Kit OR 1 3/4 yards of knit (1 yd for shirt, 3/4 for sleeves and neck band)
