Ideal for confident beginning sewers, this class covers patchwork techniques, quilting, and the fundamentals of bag construction. You'll learn to piece together vibrant patches, add sturdy handles, put in a zipper, and attach bias binding to create a functional and eye-catching accessory. By the end, you'll walk away with a unique, handcrafted duffle bag perfect for travel, gym sessions, or everyday use.

How much is it?
Class is $60 for six hours of instruction. (A $120 value!)
What will I need to bring? (Supply List)
- Sewing machine, thread, scissors
- Rulers, rotary cutter, pins or clips, etc
- 1 Patchwork Duffle Pattern
- Fabric:
- 1 yard main fabric (or 12 Fat Eighths)
- 1 yard lining fabric
- ½ yard for binding and handles
- 1 Fat Quarter interior binding
- 1 yard ByAnnie’s Soft & Stable OR your favorite batting
- (1) 30’’ Double-Slide Handbag Zipper
- 3⅝ yd 1½” Handle Webbing
