90 Minute Minky Poncho Class

Join Lemon Quilts and learn to make a comfy, fuzzy poncho for you or a loved one!  

New research has shown that youngsters are safest in car seats without coats on. Many parents have turned to “car seat ponchos” to keep their kiddos warm while driving- and this poncho can be made in kid sizes too!

Who is this class for? 

Anyone who wants to make a poncho!

Skill level: confident beginner

What will I learn? 

At the end of the class, you’ll have completed one minky poncho, and you’ll know how to make more!

When is it and for how long? 

Class is Thursday, January 18 from 5-7pm. Coffee, tea, and water provided.

Where will it be? 

Class will be located at Lemon Quilts 9175 Cherry Valley Ave SE, Caledonia, MI 49316

How much is it? 

Cost is $20 and includes 2 hours of hands-on instruction time.

What will I need to bring? 

-Sewing machine, thread, scissors

-Pins and/or clips 

-90 Minute Poncho pattern (available at the store)

-Enough minky to make the poncho in the size you chose 

Lemon Quilts will provide cutting and ironing stations, but feel free to bring your own materials for your own workspaces.
